Flurry's past is
unknown, but judging from her behavior, she probably didn't
have a good start in life. She is extremely fearful of
people, especially men. She is not aggressive or mean
at all, just very scared. She was probably not
socialized to humans.
Flurry originally
was adopted from a shelter and was not using her left rear
leg. It was discovered that her femur was badly
broken. The family that adopter her had her leg
repaired, but they were unable to fix her deeper problems of
being afraid of people. That's when she came to Adopt
A Husky.
Once flurry does
trust a person (generally female), she is very lovable and a
clingy dog that seems to be starved for affection. She
loves to cuddle in bed! She has a very sweet
personality once you get past her fearfulness.
Flurry walks with a
limp and still has some problems with her left rear foot.
This leg is shorter than the rest and she has some nerve
damage that causes her to not have feeling on part of her
leg and foot.
Flurry would
probably do best in a home that is not excessively active.
